Lofdal Christian School is an important part of the vision at Spirit Word House church, (formerly known as Spirit Word Ministries).
Building upon the foundation and vision of it’s pioneers, our school continues to propagate it’s successful legacy of over 35 years.
Our school does not only focus on academics, but also on building a strong belief system for it’s students. We understand that in order for our future leaders to change the world, they need to understand their identity in Christ, while effectively reflecting Him in their daily lives.
Our students weekly sit under the word of God, during morning devotions, where biblical principles and foundations are taught. Students get to partake in school outreaches to the community at large sharing love, food and clothing with the hungry and needy.

AEE recognizes the urgency of providing a modern education that equips children to thrive in a fast-changing, demanding world. But preparing learners for the challenges ahead requires more than just academic knowledge.
Understanding that creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are vital outcomes of education. However, we also believe a solid moral compass is grounded in Biblical principles.
This sound foundation is essential for children to grow up as responsible adults who can add value to society and reach the potential their full potential.
Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS)
A National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement is a single, comprehensive, and concise policy document, which has replaced the Subject and Learning Area Statements, Learning Program Guidelines and Subject Assessment Guidelines for all the subjects listed in the National Curriculum Statement Grades R – 12.
The vision of the IEB is to advance quality teaching and learning in South Africa through an assessment process of integrity, innovation and international comparability. The IEB is cognisant that assessment is essential in developing learners who are responsible South African citizens, able to negotiate the challenges of a global world. Through our assessments, we are motivated to develop learners who are:
- critical users of information
- ethical reasoners
- problem solvers
- creative and reflective thinkers
- lifelong learners
- society members respectful of diversity, particularly in the Southern African context
- active citizens who are committed to upholding the principles of the South African Constitution and the wellbeing of all people
